The Way of Relic

Squier Vintage Modified SSS Strat
SRV Number One Replica project

Part-6:  For now, it's kinda like this
The Fender Custom Shop's SRV is the Ultimate Being 4th Form Replica, but I want to make the 1986 - 1987 model in the 2nd Form.
Ultimate Being? Katsumi san..
The guitar is not "Parasite Eve"
To me, this era has the best appearance.
I am in the middle of making it relic, but for now, it looks like this.
WO!!!
(He he)
Katsumi san, you sure have such a great....
(Yes, I know.)
....amount of free time!

Leave me alone!! Now!

But the fact is, it takes up a LOT OF TIME for sure. I felt like I was gonna die especially working on this part. The chipped paint patterns haunted me in my dreams.

The guitar may look okay, but my original sketch didn't have it quite right, so for example, those areas are not exactly correct.

It's really difficult to grasp how the relic patterns should be, without having a picture of the guitar taken directly in frontal view.

And for this era, the bridge wasn't gold color, it was chrome.
I didn't do enough research before buying this gold bridge.

Yeah, it's definitely not 100% accurate to the original SRV.
Don't you have to make a perfect fake guitar as a counterfeiter?
You know, even if I had all the parts and materials, it is impossible to make a 100% accurate artist model. What can I do with the wood grain patterns?
Anyway, I can use this one as a model and can revise and make proper modifications to the original sketch. So for the next project, it should come out better with more accuracy and precision.
...........
Hey! I am not a counterfeiter !!
